Now that you have completed the frog dissection, reflect on what you
learned. What did you find interesting? Did anything surprise you? What
did you learn? What more would you like to know about the frog or body
systems?
What I found interesting in the frog disection was when we cut open the stomach and found the digested bug. Nothing really suprised me. How the stomach is stored. How the frog ear is different to our ears.

I had disected a frog on Thursday. I learned a bunch of stuff. There organs are really smaller than ours. We found bugs in there stomach to where they ate them. They have no ribs.

What I found interesting was the stomach in the frog. The muscles in the frog surprised me because they were very hard and full of vessel like structure. I would like to learn more about the frogs brain.

The part that was most interesting is taking out the organs to see what they actually see what they look like in real life. A lot of organs surprised me because they look very different then what you think. I learned that frogs are very differnt from humans.

I learned that frog and humans and alike in miny ways thay have miny of the some body organs and thay work the some thay proform the some function to and i whould like to no what the diffrent is between a humans digestive system and a frogs digestive system but we no that one is much smaller

heyy! i had sooooo much fun. the thing that was cool is that i could name all the organs. it was really fun because when i pressed on the frogs stomach there was a fountain of frog juice. that was really cool. there was also a beetle in the stomach of my frog. our frog was a boy. me and my partner had a lot of fun. after i disected it i ripped off the frogs leg it was really awesome. omg that was a lot of fun. i wish i could do it again. ashley

I found this project to be cool. In the stomach there was a bug. I learned what the small and large intestines looked like.

nothing surprised me. every thing was like i thought it would be.

I learned that frogs' have a different anatomy than humans do. But while some things are different there are also things that are the same. Something that I found interesting was the fact that the frog's heart is so small, also that they don't have any ribs. Even though they don't have any ribs it isn't effecting it in any way which is weird. I would really like to know why the frogs tounges are not connected when humans tounges are. I also wonder how frogs bodies are so amall but yet they hold a lot of things.

i found interesting to me was that some frogs have hump backs, ans some don't! My surprise was that there was no food in the tummy. I learned that frogs got musles so they can jump verry high! A persons kidneys arent the same as a frogs kidney!

The frog dissection was really cool. The thing that I found the most intersting was the heart. It was so small and blue. The thing that was surprising was that when i opened the stomach and founded a fly. That their body is not so different from humans.

The dissection of the frog was intereting yet if you have a week stomach I would suggest you juusst watch. I found that the smell is not bad but the sounds that the bones make when they are cut is almost unbareble.

It was not as gross as I was anticipating yet it wasn't completley tolerable either. I did notice the homology of frogs and humans. The part I found the most interesting was cutting open the skin and muscle layer. It was very disgusting to find a beetle and frog poop in the digestive tract.

I find interesting it the frog organs are small and it was like are organs but small, it the frog systems are like are,I find it the forg was like are insiad of are body
james w (unauthenticated)Apr 3, 2009 1:26 PM
I learned that humans and frogs are more simlair then I thought. I thought that the organs are quite the same. The only thing that supised me is the short tongone in the mouth of the frog.
No, there isn't anything else.

I would like to know what all I was looking at.I think that the thing that surprisd me was that frog juses spilt on me.Also there was left over bug(s) in this stomach.

The Frog Dissection was cool but I learned alot from it, like the heart. Their heart is smaller than ours but it has three chambers and ours has four.
